Liverpool does not mind selling Egyptian international Mohamed Salah this summer after selling his former colleague, Senegalese Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, and the Liverpool administration has determined the amount that it will accept in exchange for dispensing with the player’s contract, amid anticipation from Real Madrid’s management of the situation.
Salah’s contract expires at the end of next season, and the two parties have not yet agreed to renew it, in light of the Egyptian captain’s desire to receive 400,000 pounds per week, which threatens the wage ceiling of the English team.
According to “The Sun”, the Liverpool administration will accept any offers of up to 60 million pounds (70 million euros) to dispense with the Premier League’s top scorer in the past season, who currently earns 240,000 pounds per week.
The Real Madrid administration is awaiting the player’s position, as it wants to strengthen its offensive line with a distinct element after the failure of the contract with Kylian Mbappe, who renewed his contract with the French capital club Paris Saint-Germain until 2025.
And Salah’s transfer to Real Madrid from Liverpool may be beneficial for both parties, as the Catalan newspaper “Sport” previously indicated that Liverpool was considering alternative options for Salah, and that it found its loss in the Spanish “Asensio” wing, “Merengue”.
While the newspaper “Mirror” indicated that Liverpool does not see any kind of flexibility from Salah and his agent in the negotiations, and that he wants to make any profit from the possibility of selling him instead of leaving him for free at the end of the season.
