Today, Sunday, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced that it carried out 17 targeting operations against the Houthi militia in Marib within 24 hours.
The coalition confirmed that the targeting in Marib destroyed 8 Houthi militia vehicles and killed 90 of them.
This comes while the Yemeni Ministry of Defense said, on its website, that “the National Army is waging fierce battles against the Houthi militia groups on the fronts of the Juba and Harib districts, and the militia has inflicted more losses in equipment and lives.”
And it quoted a field source as saying that “the battles resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of militia, with army fire and strikes by coalition fighters to support legitimacy, in the vicinity of Umm Rish camp and the nearby sites.”
He also stressed that “the army’s artillery also demolished the positions on which the militia is stationed, as well as targeting reinforcements and military vehicles along the front.”
And the Yemeni Ministry of Defense continued: “Concurrently, the coalition fighters carried out focused raids targeting gatherings and mechanisms carrying reinforcements, and led to the death of those on board.”
The forces of the Yemeni army and the popular resistance continue to advance in the southern front of Marib.

Jabal Al-Faliha and Umm Rish camp witnessed violent clashes that killed more than 40 Houthis and captured 20 others during the past 24 hours.
A military source said that the army destroyed the militia’s fortifications in the vicinity of Umm Reesh camp, while the coalition fighters targeted military vehicles on the road linking Juba and Harib.
Yesterday, Saturday, the coalition announced that it had carried out 8 targeting operations against the Houthi militia in Marib within 24 hours.
He explained in a statement that the targeting in Marib destroyed 5 militia vehicles and killed 40 members.
