Moroccan Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, the new Al-Ittihad striker, arrived in Jeddah on Saturday, to the welcome of his team’s supporters, a week after announcing his contract in a free transfer deal.
And the club’s official account on Twitter published a short video of the player sending a message to the fans, saying: We are waiting for you tomorrow, God willing.
Al-Ittihad will meet with its counterpart Al-Ittifaq on Sunday during the 14th round of the Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, and the Moroccan striker is scheduled to be among the audience in the stands.
The Federation announced the signing of the player in the middle of this month with a contract that extends for a season and a half without revealing the financial details, after the Al-Nasr administration terminated the player’s contract for reasons it described as legal and legitimate at the end of last November.
Hamdallah moved to Al-Nasr as a free player in the summer of 2018, and became the historical top scorer in the Saudi Professional League with 34 goals. He also contributed to winning the league championship that season and the Saudi Super Cup twice. Al-Ittihad is the eighth club in the player’s career, who started his professional life in Morocco and then moved to Norway Then China, and the Qatar League was its last stop before moving to Saudi Arabia.
