The Yemeni Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, confirmed, on Saturday, that the Houthi bombing of residential communities in Ma’rib is an act of retaliation that reflects the failure of his militia.
In a series of tweets he posted on his Twitter account, he said: We are surprised by the continued silence of the international community, the United Nations, and UN and American envoys regarding the systematic killings committed by the Houthi militia against civilians in the Ma’rib governorate, and we demand immediate action to include the Houthi militia on international terrorism lists, and to prosecute its leaders in international courts, as they are war criminals.
Three civilians were killed and eight others were wounded, including two children, today, Saturday, in a missile shelling launched by the terrorist Houthi militia, on a popular market south of the city of Marib, northeast of Yemen.

The director of the Human Rights Office in Marib, Abd Rabbo Judee, said that the Houthi militia bombed the Al Jaber complex in the middle of a popular market south of the city of Ma’rib with a ballistic missile, which resulted in the deaths of 3 people, including the child Abdo Hassan Adaman (14 years), and the injury of 8 others, including the three-year-old child Hussein Qassem Hassan. years and caused material damage to the complex and its surroundings.
Judea, according to the official Yemeni news agency, considered the militia’s continued bombing of popular markets, residential neighborhoods, camps and gatherings of displaced people in Ma’rib Governorate, and its deliberate targeting of civilians and killing women and children, proves to the world its criminal behavior, its aggressive approach, and its insistence on violating all international laws and treaties that protect civilians and criminalize their targeting in conflicts and wars.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia targeted the city of Marib, which is crowded with displaced people, with 17 ballistic missiles in less than a month, all of which resulted in dozens of civilian casualties.
