Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford revealed that most of his team’s players returned to training again in preparation for playing at Newcastle United on Monday, after two matches for the team were postponed due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
Rashford said on his club’s official website: The players did not stop training and today almost all the other players have returned to training, only about two are left, they will return tomorrow.
“Almost our entire squad is back in training, which is a positive thing before the start of next week,” Rashford added.
United won 1-0 against Norwich City during the team’s last match on December 11, while its matches against Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford, along with other matches in the tournament, were postponed due to the outbreak of infection.
United occupies sixth place among the Premier League teams with 27 points from 16 games, 17 points behind its neighbor, the leader, Manchester City, the defending champion, who played 18 games.
In his last match of the year, United will meet with Burnley.
