Singer Dina Hussein revealed, surprisingly, about the truth of the video spread through the communication sites, which sparked widespread controversy, that this video dates back to last year and is not recent.
Dina said during a telephone interview with the media, Syed Ali, on the “Hazrat Al-Citizen” program: “What upsets me is that I downloaded this video a year ago on my page, and I was in a difficult psychological state because of what I saw from some people in the field of artwork, so I downloaded the video on my page, And I confessed to those inside me, and I generalized the words.”
And she added, “After that, Professor Reham Saeed contacted me and worked with her in an episode of the Sabaya Al-Khair program, and she was supportive of me and heard me, and the topic and salvation came, and after that I downloaded a clip of my life, I walked again, normal.”
She explained: “Once and suddenly I found my old video, it downloaded again, and the viewership rate was more than 2 million views very quickly, and the world is upside down on me, and I do not understand why it came down again, and why is the matter opening with me again.”
And she concluded: “My last word to people, by God, I did not mean at that time to offend any need or anyone in person, and I cannot be hurt in my country, in the musical profession, in the union, or in Egyptian artists. .
The General Federation of Technical Syndicates had issued a statement denouncing the “inappropriate and irresponsible” statements from a singer without naming her, saying that they “harmed the reputation of Egypt’s artists” during the past hours.
The statement stated: “The masses of Egyptian artists express their condemnation, regret and total rejection of the inappropriate and irresponsible statements contained in one of the videos tagged with non-professional goals of a singer. One of the channels, in a way that is inconsistent with the principles of media work, gave her an opportunity to make general judgments without evidence, without facts and without evidence.”
The artist Khaled Bayoumi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Syndicate of Musical Professions, said that Dina Hussein belongs to the Syndicate of Musical Professions under affiliated membership and works with a temporary permit, noting that the Syndicate is currently studying the legal position towards what Dina Hussein said in the video issued by her during the past days.
