Without a booster vaccination, EU vaccination certificates will in future be invalid no later than nine months after the basic vaccination. The EU Commission announced this on Tuesday. The decision will take effect on February 1st.
Just a few days ago, the EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that changes were planned to the validity of vaccination certificates. It should be shortened. Now the EU Commission announced on Tuesday that in future, without the so-called “booster”, the vaccination certificate will be invalid at the latest nine months after the basic immunization.
The digital EU certificates of corona vaccinations, tests and recovery were introduced in the summer to make traveling easier.
