The main index of the Saudi stock market “TASI” closed with a weekly increase of 3.42%, equivalent to 373 points, to reach the level of 11,311.89 points, at the end of the week.
After the index rose 1.5%, equivalent to 168.5 points, at the close of trading today, Thursday, with a trading value of about 10.88 billion riyals, and a trading volume of 255.18 million shares.
The value of trading during the week amounted to about 53.46 billion riyals, and the shares traded amounted to about 1.16 billion shares, while the market value of the main market shares amounted to 9.897 trillion riyals.
The Saudi Telecom “STC” share dominated the largest share of the value and volume of trading during the week, about 14.42 billion riyals, with 141.46 million shares, after the implementation of the secondary offering of 120 million shares, representing 6% of the company’s capital for a number of local institutional investors. and international investors, in addition to individual investors, through a secondary public offering, which is the first of its kind in the Saudi stock market.
The “Developmental Food” share recorded the highest increase during the week, amounting to 19.87%, and Al-Ahly Takaful share declined with the highest weekly decline rate of 5.54%.
