The French president of Lille opened the door for the return of the Belgian Eden Hazard, the current Real Madrid player, to his former club again, in light of the fluctuation of his level due to the many injuries he suffered since his move to the Spanish capital team.
Hazard’s first participation with the current champion of the French League dates back to the 2007-2008 season, and he led the team to a historic double in 2011 when the club was crowned with the historic league and cup double.
Lille president Oliver Letang told L’Equipe: Hazard’s return to Lille? It’s not impossible.
He added, “I will go to Spain if necessary.” Hazard is a fantastic player for sure, but he is currently under contract with Real Madrid.
Hazard participated in only 55 games during two and a half seasons with “Al-Merengue”, and his suffering continues under the leadership of Ancelotti this season, as he played only 7 minutes in the last 4 games for Real Madrid.
