Inter Milan continued its winning streak in the Italian Football League, after its 5-0 victory over its host Salernitana, on Friday, in the 18th stage of the competition.
Inter achieved its fifth consecutive victory in the competition, raising its score to 43 points at the top of the standings, four points ahead of second-placed Milan, which plays on Sunday against Napoli in the same stage competitions.
On the other hand, Salernitana suffered the fifth defeat in a row, to freeze its score at eight points, in the twentieth and last place.
Inter advanced in the 11th minute through Croatian Ivan Perisic, before Dutchman Denzel Dumfries added the second goal in the 33rd minute.
In the 51st minute, Alexis Sanchez added the third goal for Inter, before Lautaro Martinez and Roberto Galliardini scored the fourth and fifth goals in the 77th and 87th minutes, respectively.
