Polish falconer Milada Charlotte competed with falconers at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, through her participation in the Al-Malwah competition, which is held in Mulham, north of Riyadh.
The Polish Milad expressed her overwhelming happiness with the first international participation, and revealed in an interview with “Al Arabiya.net” about her beginning with falconry because of her specialization as a veterinarian and her interest in animals. She says: “Through my work, I saw the interest and the special relationship between falconers and their falcons with the interest and care for them, until I started searching for falcons more on the Internet, and learned a lot of information, and I bought the first falcon in 2013 and it was in the category of free, and a year later I bought (Shehana) I started production.
15 falcons per year
Milada indicated that she produces about 15 falcons per year, and this year she produced only eight falcons, and she has many friends and customers who buy from them, explaining that her interest in racing began 3 years ago. She said: “I heard about the King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival and knew the possibility of women participating, This meant a lot to me and I decided to participate without hesitation, which is my first time and it will be two falcons.”
It is noteworthy that Miladh participated in the eleventh round for the category (Free Chick / International Owners) through the falcon “Melada 35” and the twelfth set for the category (Free Qirnas / International Owners) with the falcon “Melada 2”, and she was not lucky to qualify for the cups.
