The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia intends to train and qualify 3,000 job seekers in the field of occupational safety and health and enlist them in the labor market during 2022.
The ministry stated in its goals for the year 2022, according to official data obtained by Al Arabiya Net, that it aims to manage and stimulate the flexible work platform, and to operate free work programs and remote work.
The Ministry intends to switch to job performance management to raise the level of maturity and the culture of performance management for government agencies.
Meanwhile, the ministry revealed that 20 professions and activities were localized in a number of sectors, and more than 378,000 jobs were created for job seekers during the year 2021.
The ministry stated that it has empowered more than 10,000 social security beneficiaries who are able to work to provide them with job opportunities.
Yesterday, Saudi Arabia revealed the budget for the year 2022, with an estimated expenditure of 955 billion riyals, and revenues are estimated at 1045 billion riyals, with a surplus of up to 90 billion riyals.
During the first half of the current year 2021, the Ministry of Human Resources was able to employ Saudis, achieving the self-employment target of 140% by issuing 8,140 work documents, which had a positive impact in organizing and stimulating self-employment in the Kingdom by creating job opportunities for Saudis.
