The coach of the Egyptian national football team, Carlos Queiroz, announced the absence of Ahmed Hegazy and Ayman Ashraf from the face of the Pharaohs with Jordan, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in the eighth round of the Arab Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar.
Queiroz said in the press conference held today, Friday: Ahmed Hegazy and Ayman Ashraf will not participate in the Jordan match, as for Muhammad Majdi Afsha, I do not want to risk him to keep him in the upcoming matches.
Queiroz expressed his enthusiasm for being with the Egyptian national team in the Arab Cup tournament currently being held in Qatar.
We are so excited to be here, we want to take this opportunity to give our best and grow and improve even more.
Regarding the Jordan national team, Queiroz said: As long as it reaches this role, it is certainly a good and organized team, and it certainly has the same dream as ours to qualify for the next round. There are no excuses, whoever wins in the 90 minutes will qualify for the next round, we are focusing on the match a lot, trying to learn together and motivate each other.
He stressed, “We certainly seek to win this tournament, but our goal is also to prepare and prepare for the World Cup. This is the biggest dream, and to gain experiences from contact with strong teams, which will not be strong unless you face strong teams as well.”
