At the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid ended the first half with a goal scored by German Toni Kroos in the 17th minute.
In the second half, Inter Milan suffered a strong blow, represented by the expulsion of its midfielder Nicolo Parilla in the 64th minute, so that the Royal Club took advantage of the numerical shortage in its guest ranks and scored the second goal by Marco Asensio in the 79th minute.
