The Control and Anti-Corruption Authority in Saudi Arabia, “Nazaha”, revealed today, Sunday, that it initiated a number of criminal and administrative cases during the month of Rabi’ al-Thani 1443 AH.
The authority stated, in a tweet on its Twitter account, that it is investigating 657 people, and the number of detainees has reached 250.
The authority conducted 6,459 monitoring rounds during the month of Rabi’ al-Thani 1443 AH.
She added that this included the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Health, Justice, Education, Municipal and Rural Affairs, and Housing.
The most prominent crimes of financial and administrative corruption were bribery, abuse of power and abuse of power, in addition to forgery.
